Success in Shared Care
Developing partnerships between families and professionals
Success in Shared Care is a training organisation set up by two
parents to promote shared training between professional providers
and families, arising as a result of their own experiences of working
in partnership with service agencies over many years. The philosophy
of the organisation is:
“By working together with providers of services we hope to
encourage the ongoing development of co-operation and mutual respect
in all aspects of shared care.”
Training workshops include:
-
Letting Go - A Parent's Dilemma.
-
Are We Hearing Each Other?
-
Communication And Understanding.
Workshops have been delivered to a range of staff and parents and
within a variety of different service settings, including: Social
Services, NHS Trusts, and Mencap.
